Equipment: Caterpillar 3306 DITA
(Direct Injection Turbo Charged)
Elpinstone (front-end loader) with a PTX catalytic converter

Fuel: Griffin Industries, Bio G-3000™, Biodiesel fuel.
ASTM D6751 specification produced from recycled vegetable oil.
Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel, ASTM D975.

Results: Reductions of elemental carbon based on fuel used with CO2 normalization. Testing was performed in an isolated zone.

B20 blend (80% Diesel / 20% Biodiesel) resulted in a 19% reduction.
B50 blend (50% Diesel / 50% Biodiesel) resulted in a 49% reduction.
