There’s a trend among PS4 fanboys to swap the stock hard drive of PS4 with the blazing-fast solid state drive (aka SSD), in hope that they will gain more speed and better performance for their gaming experience. SSD has become their top-of-the-line offering, especially for thin and light notebooks.

So while the SSD 850 Pro is a great drive, worthy of the investment for professional users, it does not offer the most for your money. Adding an SSD PS4 to the game console will help increase the system performance and cut down on time of loading the operating system and games. There is a working temperature sensor. SATA-II solid state drives for PS4
In addition to basic SSD features like DataGuard Client and LDPC error correction, the X400 comes with a dedicated hardware core that automatically corrects writing errors without draining much power. ATTO Disk Benchmark is perhaps one of the oldest benchmarks going and is definitely the main staple for manufacturer performance specifications. The new crop of low-cost SSDs is not meant to compete with high- performance drives. It tended to be roughly average in most of our tests, although it excelled with 4K random transfers and aligned reads.
ATTO returns with solid results as the both the sequential read and write results exceed the listed specifications. PS4 makes it really easy for any hard drive swap a user wants to perform. Rather, they target hard disks that currently ship in entry-level systems. Even when going with a PS4 hard drive for a better storage capacity, this might not suit all users. The drive had a throughput of 27,019 IOPS write and 9,474 IOPS read in random transfers and came in third overall in our aligned read. We see read results reaching up to 556 MB/s and write results reaching up to 536 MB/s. By enthusiast standards, inexpensive DRAM-less drives are very slow.
